Essential Oils for Dry Skin

Lavender Oil: 
    • Properties— Revitalizing, hydrating, clarifying, and cleansing. 
    Chamomile Oil:
      • Properties— Purifying, antioxidative, moisturizing, softening, and smoothing

      DIY Recipe

      In a small container, mix:

      • 7 drops of lavender oil, 
      • 2 drops of chamomile oil, and 
      • 1 oz. jojoba oil.

      Apply the mixture as a moisturizer. Use anytime your skin feels dry, especially at night before bedtime.

      Essential Oils for Oily Skin

      Clary Sage Oil: 
        • Properties— Balancing, calming, cleansing, toning, and astringent.
        Rosemary Oil: 
          • Properties Detoxifying, astringent, refreshing, toning, and moisturizing.

          DIY Recipe:

          In a small container, mix:

          • 5 drops of clary sage oil,
          • 5 drops of rosemary oil
          • 1  oz. of jojoba or almond oil.

          Clean your face and apply this mixture onto your skin. Leave it on overnight. Use it once daily.

          Essential Oils for Normal Skin

          Frankincense Oil: 

          • Properties Astringent, toning, moisturizing, and skin-softening.
          Lavender OIl: 
            • Properties Revitalizing, hydrating, clarifying, and cleansing.

            DIY Recipe:

            In an empty spray bottle, add:

            • 1 teaspoon of witch hazel
            • 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel
            • 10 drops of lavender oil
            • 10 drops of frankincense oil
            •  ⅓ cup of purified water.

            Combine all these ingredients and shake well. Spray the mixture onto your skin and let it dry. You can repeat this procedure twice daily.

            Essential Oils for Sensitive Skin

            Lavender Oil:
              • PropertiesClarifying, cleansing, calming, toning, and deeply hydrating.
              Frankincense Oil
                • PropertiesInvigorating, toning, astringent, soothing, and moisturizing. 

                DIY Recipe: 

                In a small container, mix: 

                • 5 drops of lavender oil
                • 5 drops of frankincense oil
                • 1 oz. of coconut oil.

                Apply the mixture onto desired areas of your skin. Leave it on until the mixture dries. You can repeat this procedure once daily.
